The slums of Mumbai were a fascinating place for me to spend time. I found myself feeling safe and was able to experience the magic that humanity can be. A smile and looking in peoples eyes gave me the spark of acceptance to be in this magical state of being.

Wernher Krutein has, since childhood, formulated a reverence for a world he describes as "simply beautiful, enormously complex, and lovingly profound." In this quest he has taken well over three million photographs and hundreds of hours of film and video footage all over the planet. His endeavor is no less than the documentation of the Universe. For the last forty years he has devoted his life to the cataloging and archiving of the best of this imagery into a filing system he invented called FLUID LOGIC (tm).
